RECEIPTS ARE REQUIRED. -Special thanks to our new gate staff Samantha and Kyrsten. 1st VP- Mike Tobin -Class Sponsorship – 10 out of 20 classes now have paid sponsors. -List of sponsors going to Michelle Crabtree for raceday program inclusion and to event announcer. -Schedule cards are all done, posters are nearly done. We have enough stickers for the whole season. -Erin Gua is helping on WMRRA swag – Full inventory has been done and we have ordered some additional items including “under-armor”. -Tabled discussion on radio advertising and special events 2nd VP- Bill Hallanger -Not present -Jeff Wieand reporting -AM radio at track is not working well. Allister has agreed to talk to the track about it and see if anything can be done. -The schedule may be ahead or behind – it is the racer’s responsibility to pay attention! -Discussion of racing incident with track crossing by officials. Situation has been resolved. -There were some questions about red flag situations in “important” races. The rulebook is applied consistently to all classes in all situations. Riders must be aware that a red flag after the halfway point of the race ends the race at the previous lap. -Discussion on purchasing all new cornerstation flags. Luke proposes we replace the flags. Nico seconded it. The measure did not pass For: Luke, Nico, Ariana Against: Mike, Duncan, Joan, Allister as tiebreaker -Discussion on problem behavior by riders… Riders should be aware that we document *all* incidents that can and will be used in taking future disciplinary action against the rider if a pattern of problem behavior is apparent! -A discussion was held on the “vendor row” and pits situation -A discussion was held on issues related to track set up/teardown staff requirements. 3rd VP- Ariana Burgess -A rider has been granted special permission to use a 700 series number upon graduation. -A discussion was held on using podiums for the award presentations. -Bogus laptime issue from DbCom has been addressed -New scoring team is doing well -A discussion was held on the pit fee -- $695 was collected in pit fees. President– Allister MacKinnon -Executive board decided unanimously to lower cost of airfence to Mike Sullivan for one time because we did not communicate airfence requirements for NRS to him. -Discussion of lack of action by airfence committee. -Airfence Module #22 was damaged at last 2-Fast track day. -Executive board considered petition from experienced young dirt tracker to bypass novice track and classroom requirements. Executive board denied petition. -Gate policy adopted by board: kids aged 12 and under get free admission. Novice Report– Nico Tomacelli -Spot check of novices at pit out showed novice bikes were mostly wired properly. -Novice weekend went well, no major incidents. -50% of attendees provided feedback on the NRS which will be evaluated and relayed to the NRS providers. -Mentoring stickers worked very well -A non-racing incident concerning improper unsportsmanlike behavior from a new novice was discussed.
