We brought up our location concerns to him. When the configuration is being created, we will be contacted to choose our location, but it will be in the annex again. 2nd VP- Bill Hallanger -Vandalism at Spokane is continued to be discussed. This will not be tolerated. Reminder that you are responsible for all people in your pits. -A photographer rules and waiver form has been drafted. -Numbers plates are going to be more strongly enforced for out of town racers next season. -Grids in all three places are going to be closely monitored for consistency. Reminder that pit gate is final copy. -Oct 1st at midnight is the deadline for rule proposals. -Rules Committee Meeting is closed. Make your proposals clear. Everyone gets the same shot and fairness. -Proposal presented by Gary Ryder: allow people to attend if they have submitted a proposal in order to explain intent and answer questions. -Points raised about the proposal: --All proposals get hard looks and are debated well. We will have a diverse group again this year. --Proposal has to be well worded anyways, because it goes in the book. --If riders attended, there would be no input from them, but they should be able to view the meeting. You can ask them to leave if they do speak. --Last year, rules were researched and people were contacted to clear up questions. --Since RCM is after the season, reps are hard to get hold of. --The RCM had been opened to members in the past. The sessions were continually counterproductive, and the committee returned to closed meetings. --Tabled for EB to further discuss. 3rd VP- Ariana Burgess -We have one person coming to look at joining the scoring team, they will be at PR for round 8. A second person is also interested. We are hoping they will create a two person team. -Items brought up for the Novice Rep: to let volunteer requirements for novice's graduation include registration when possible. -Options for online registration and payment will be presented to the EB. -Item from Vintage Rep: results for SOTP weekend are still incorrect. He needs to get them from scoring to correct manually. -Sidecar Reps are present to discuss trophies. They usually get two trophies per car, per race on a weekend. Does the sidecar organization need to provide the trophies? Scoring agrees that they were not correctly informed and will correct this for next year. They will also provide trophies owed from 2007 season. President- Allister MacKinnon -Airfence protocol will be re-vamped to pre-invoice track day organizations. -Novice Committee will be convened to look at changes for 2008 NRC . We are trying to move NRC outside of WMRRA and create manuals. -PR has verbally given us our corresponding 5 weekends for 2008. -There is no new information on SRP, besides what is in the newspaper. The article announced a feasibility audit. We have given input to the audit regarding our contribution to the community. -The bus stop exit will get two air bails, and the area behind the barrier will be cleared of spectators. The bus stop apex placement is the same as previously configured. The only change is the exit, which has been opened up due to a new pot hole. This is allowing for higher exit speed. Novice Rep- Nico Tomacelli -Not present -NRC is canceled for October race weekend. Supersport Rep- Ross Delong -Not present -No report Superbike Rep- Brad Gua -Not present -No report Vintage Rep- Duncan Craick -Sept 15, 16, 17, some of our vintage racers were at the Miller race weekend. Mission has streamlined their registration, and the weekend went well. Good of WMRRA -Are we still in contact with ORP? Yes, but there is no definite answer for next year's schedule. -Toys for Tots is Sunday, Oct 7. Bring new, unwrapped toys to the track.
