Treasurer- Joan Inge -Checking and Savings balances reported. -PR balances paid. -PR gate entrance for Round 6: Saturday was 509 and Sunday was 548. -The 990 tax return deadline was met on Aug. 15 and was completed with assistance from the CPA. -There are refunds still pending for Rounds 5 and 6. -We are still short on Air Fence payments. President has the list of organizations that still owe. -Injured rider fund balance reported. -Air Fence fund balance not available. -Spokane reimbursement receipts must be turned in by end of lunch on Sunday. 1st VP- Andre Lister -Not present -Charity report for food drive Round 6: 400 pounds for Humane Society and 210 pounds for the food bank. -Big thanks to Josh Ellingston and XLSR for the BBQ on Saturday at PR. -Toys for Tots will be held on October 7. The Marines will be on hand with their Hummers and a tent. Please bring new, upwrapped toys for donation. You may also bring toys to Spokane and we will be sure to get them to the Marines. 2nd VP- Bill Hallanger -Possible changes for black flag procedure discussed. Rider is responsible for looking at starters. If you do not respond to the black flag you will be penalized. -We have received alot of good feedback on the new bus stop/curbing configuration. -We currently have 35 rule change proposals, if you don't see yours on the website, please contact 2nd VP. -Liz Chaffen, corner captain, will get us a list of workers that are able to vote this year. -We are looking for new WMRRA logos that can be used with or without next year's date for rulebooks and merchandise. Send any ideas to the E-Board for consideration. -Worker jackets will be handed out next year for volunteers that earned them this season. We are considering changing the logo and color. 3rd VP- Brent Hallstrom -Registration's database was having issues last weekend. Some data was lost but is being re-entered. The 160 race was directly affected. It will be corrected this weekend -SCORING TEAM NEEDED NEXT YEAR. -Race Day help for Registration is needed. -Please email scoring with any protests. -Wires on battery leads often come undone and are a main cause of transponder malfunction. Check them often. President- Allister MacKinnon -KC Clark is doing well. -Discussion on an incident where a truck crossed the hot track at PR Round 6. This will NOT happen again without permission from Control and ambulance flags. -Curbing discussion raised: Track day organizations are asking to use our curbing. -Pros Raised: -Bus stop would be consistant for racers who run track days. -Cons Raised: -Discussion on previous E-Board rulings that disallowed other organizations from using our equipment. -Consequences of loss or damage outweighs any revenue we would make from its rental. -Problem was raised regarding spectators standing in exit of the bus stop. Solutions were discussed and will be brought up to the race day staff. One idea was to possibly finish out the tire wall exiting bus stop. -Discussion regarding photographers standing in impact zones and crossing a hot track. A suggested solution is to create a list of rules. Photographers must sign that they understand this list before receiving their vests. Novice Rep- Chris Denzler -Not present -Novice NRC class is Sept. 15th at 9 am in RMC's upstairs conference room. Supersport Rep- Nico Tomacelli -No report Superbike Rep- Jeff Webber -Happily stepping down, thanks for a great year. Vintage Rep- Duncan Craick -SOTP race day went well, scoring and registration problems are being addressed. -We had racers from California, Oregon and Canada participate. -WERA will be at Miller September 7th and 8th. Modern twins or singles can run. Aug 24th is the registration deadline. -Appreciation goes out to Gery Liggett, Jay Springsteen, Cafe Veloce, and U-Honda for the great SOTP weekend. -Mick Hart broke vintage track record of 1:40 with a 1972 Honda. Good of WMRRA -Ross DeLong broke PR's track record at 1:24:09. -Ariana Burgess nominated for 3rd vp, accepted. -Everyone must sign the waver forms at the gate.
