Executive Board Meeting Minutes 6-13-2007 Secretary - Debbie Hallanger -No report Treasurer - Joan Inge -Checking and savings balances reported. -Injured rider and AirFence balances reported. -SRP round 3 balances paid. -Round 3 gate 443. -Round 4 gate 539. -DBCOM has arrived from OMRRA. They still need payment. First VP - Andre Lister -Not present, no report Second VP - Bill Hallanger -Lots of positive response from riders on the 2-5 second wave starts. We will continue this for our larger grids. -Discussion on the Formula Thunder red flag that was relayed by a rider to the Superbike Rep. -Discussion on the endurance race start and ways to improve communication to the riders next year. Third VP - Brent Hallstrom -No scoring issues for round 4. -Recived complete DBCOM minus the trasponders from OMRRA. -Invoice is being reviewed based on the fact the transponders were missing. -No registration problems. As a reminder registration closes at 8:30 am. -No runner on Saturday caused delays in posting of results at registration. President - Allister MacKinnon -Discussion on SRP providing 2 local ambulances verses 1 local ambulance and AMR. -Board agrees that service was not impacted, and it saved the club money. -Young Guns has officially been taken out of the schedule. -Gate personnel at PR is hired by PR and out of our control. A complaint will be sent to PR from the president. Remember paying the gate fee is everyone's responsibility. -Cafe' Veloce has approached us again regarding sponsorship. -Discussion on limiting write access on the forum to members only. Board aggrees this is not necessary. -Notify the president if any threads on the forum shouldn't be there. He will delete them if they aren't appropriate. Novice Rep - Chris Denzler -Not present, no report Supersport Rep - Nico Tomacelli -No report Superbike Rep - Jeff Webber -Jim Pittman and Josh Ellingson have asked the Board for funds to race the next AMA event. The Board will provide $250 per person. Vintage Rep - Duncan Craick -August 11 is SOTP Days. -We are still talking with Springsteen. He will be riding a Triumph. He is asking WMRRA for $2000 for help with travel and shipping expenses. -Proposal to pay for Springsteen's presence. -Ideas to help with the expense: -Look into dealer meet and greets. -Approach University Honda. -Approach Cafe' Veloce. -Board aggrees to pay up to $1500 and seek sponsors for the rest. -Proposal to increase SOTP entrie fees by $10.
