We are open to suggestions or other organizations. -If anyone is interested in taking over training novices, track or classroom, contact Chris. -Air Fence setup for May weekend will be Saturday at 6 am because of High School drags and tear down on Monday, after NESBA event. Supersport Rep - Nico Tomacelli -A few riders have asked about visual tear down for all SS classes, such as at OMRRA. Slicks have been reported in SS race and continue to be voiced as a concern. Discussion proceeds on track staff policy about catching SS violations and regular tear downs. -Race Director reports: SS visual tear downs will happen at track exit, visual check at pit gate and grid will be more consistent this year. We are assigning a pit steward specifically to be at track exit after these events. -SS shut down sequence at grid will continue. Superbike Rep - Jeff Webber -No report Vintage Rep - Duncan Craick -First SOTP will be at the May PR race. New Business Proposal: Brent Prindle -Many “special events” that are not part of the regular race weekend schedule are added to the WMRRA schedule. This includes, but is not limited to, endurance races, sidecars, and special vintage weekends. This takes away from practice times. The prices for registration proposed to be pro-rated on the following formula: ProRatedFee=(Fee x (TotalTrackTime – EventTrackTime))/TotalTrackTime ProRatedFee: is the pro-rated fee Fee: is fee from registration form less Medic One fee TotalTrackTime: is the total track time found by adding up all scheduled track time including practice and racing. EventTrackTime: is the total amount of track time for the event including practice and racing. -This fee structure will ensure that the “special event” being added will be able to stand on it’s own financially and not subsidized. Points raised: -Disagreement, because you are paying for racing, not practice. The loss or gain of practice should not be guaranteed. -Sidecars want to run whole schedule and are shown to make money. -Credit will be issued for endurance weekend, this was already approved by E-Board. -Discussion tabled Good of WMRRA -Announcement that you ARE allowed minor work on bike in hot pits during an endurance race red flag. This has been questioned to the President. -May Friday camping allowed? President will announce PR’s answer to the lists. -The Burgess’s will have Cinco De Mayo event after races.
