General Meeting Minutes 2-28-2007 A Quorum was present. Secretary - Debbie Hallanger -No report Treasurer - Joan Inge -Checking and savings balances reported. First VP - Andre Lister -Not present -We have a table a Smokey Point Cycle Barn with bike on display for Daytona Days on March 10th. Second VP - Bill Hallanger -Rulebooks are completed. Third VP - Brent Hallstrom -Not present -Licenses scheduled to be sent out on March 11th. President - Allister MacKinnon -SRP has sent email that "They will be open for business", so we are still on track for our dates. -Motions from last GM meeting posted in last months minutes are ruled out of order by the president. Explanation of ruling will be posted in writing within 60 days. Robert's Rule of Order stated to support the ruling. -Camping at PR is still in negotiation and will be posted to the official and un-official lists and forums when the prices are definitive. Novice Rep - Chris Denzler -57 new novices are registered. -Class room session location is still tentative because of the large number of entries. -Aspiring mentors can contact Chris. Supersport Rep - Nico Tomacelli -No report Superbike Rep - Jeff Webber -No report -Question: What is the minimum number of bikes to create a new class? Answer: A new class is a rule change and cannot be added after Rulebook deadline. Vintage Rep - Duncan Craick -SOTP are running rounds at Miller again. If you have a twin or single modern bike, they have a class for you. -Aug 11th SOTP at PR we will have Nixon and Springsteen as guests. If you want to race against them, bring a vintage bike and participate. Good of WMRRA -Liz Chaffen:  She and Jeff Wieand are looking to upgrade corner worker training with First Aid and CPR assistance response. They are having a training session for flags & radio and event scheduling for trained corner workers on March 18th. We are going to a semi-official uniform of all white with a white shirt minimum. -A raffle system for corner worker participation incentive being put in place. If you have donations to make, they would be welcome for the drawing at the end of the year. -Track volunteer work days are March 17th and 18th for tire wall repair and cleanup at PR around 9 am.
