I have so been there... Tell Oli that I said hi and to get well soon! We'll miss him at Mission.
Make sure they elevate and ice the leg if it starts to swell up; that's how I could have avoided my scar and skin graft.

A speedy recovery for all the other riders aswell.

Tell Mr Jervis his presence at WMRRA events will be missed.

WMRRA wishes him and all of the WMRRA riders a quick and full recovery.
We are all sorry to hear about the injuries. Not fun at all.

Our race staff is very concerned with our riders safety. We all worry about our injured racers.

However, Mr Jervis's prescence on the Lightweight Superbike Grid will NOT be missed. Thanks for allowing me to make a postion!!! Way to go buddy!!! I knew I liked that Canuck! (joking of course...;-) Now if I could just get the Border Patrol to detain that pesky imposter Sean Becker....

Please keep us informed about his recovery!

Allister is wrong about this one ( I know you are joking, Allister!). You will be sorely missed. You are one BIG carrot in front of me and I will miss the opportunity to learn from you. Heal well and fast. Hope to see you back out there soon.

Jervis & Seehorn are probably sharing a room and will soon be having races in the halls on something with wheels....Think Days of Thunder!

I just stopped by the hospital to visit Oli and Jeff. Jeff had just gotten out of surgery and was very groggy. The surgery went well and they put 2 plates and several screws to put the pelvis back together. The Femur and Hip socket and ball are all good and not damaged. Due to the dislocation of his hip initially, he should be good on no muscle damage since he is so muscular, it held everything together very well. I believe his mom told me he has a crack they left alone that will heal and the 2 bigger fractures they plated together.

Oli is doing well, they are working on how to get him home since he needs to keep leg elevated. He had compound fractures of his tib/fib. I don't know if they were all compound or what but there were breaks near the ankle and don't recall which one but one was also broke below the knee. so he has a nice titanium rod, a few plates and lots of screws holding it all together and as he put it, "its better than stock". :-)

I mentioned to him many of you sending your best wishes and get well soon notes which he plans to read when he has internet access back home.
