Fuuuuuuuuuuuck. Hard to tell but that patch looks steep. It's much more narrow than the others.

I don't get that wavy design either.
I also think waves instead steps makes it worse once you run out of track or be "forced" to ride on it, by what ever reason.
I'm afraid those waves will make you jump first, like hitting a ramp, instead slowing down.

    Just my 2ct

    However ... we'll see.

They're rather obviously designed with cars in mind, and no consideration of motorcycles...

Once the race lift is down the coping with be dead even with the racing surface. They are round in nature so at least you won't hook a knee puck and break a hip like VIR.

I don't believe any world championship series runs on a track with this type of curbing. VIR is the only one I'm aware of that has something similar and allows motorcycles on the track. I'll have to see it in person, but it does look pretty unfriendly from the photos I've seen.

Yeah, I haven't seen this exact ripple used on another track BUT lots of other tracks have some kind of ripples for curbing. Not quite as pronounced.....

ON the plus side, this curbing makes it equal for running in reverse. Unlike the wedge curbing....I think it would be a gas if they ran the Ridge backwards.
