Default Status of Claud Jinks - WMRRA #314

Hey WMRRA family and friends. I know that many of you are curious about Clauds status. I spent the afternoon with him, his wife Anita, along with some family and close friends. With an absolute heavy heart, I regret to inform you that we lost our #314 at 1:02 this afternoon.

I won't go into the extent of his injuries. He wasn't alone when he passed and the Doctors assured me that he was never in any pain from the time of the accident.

Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

As soon as I have details about services I will post it to the forum.

Clauds wife Anita wanted me to extend her thanks to this club for giving him such a wonderful place to exercise his need for speed. She knows how much we meant to him and how much he means to us.

The care and compassion following today's event makes me realize how big a heart the WMRRA family has and how professional the racing staff is. Thank you to all the corner workers and everyone else involved. I can truely appreciate the work you guys do every race weekend. I only met Claud yesterday but I could tell right away he was just a really cool guy. His family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was walking back from the Dunlop pits in the morning between my practices and noticed Claude suited up, he and his "old" CBR900RR ready to go out. I started to stop by and chat real quick, however I realized I needed to get my own leathers on, bike warmed up etc. so I made note to circle back around later that day, but that chance never came...

Rest in Peace my friend, you will surely be missed.
