The motor was rebuilt in Sept 2011. The newly rebuilt motor has 129 practice miles on it and 45 race miles on it. Most of those miles coming from one race weekend in April 2012. During that weekend, the bike and motor ran great. In 2011 the bike was raced in only 6 races.

The motor is a mild superbike engine built for reliability. The motor has:

Ported and Polished headers / Wiseco high compression pistons. (2 mil overbore) / Carrillo H-Rods / 3 cut valve job on stock valves / Lightened fly wheel / Cyro-treated crank shaft / R&D Custom Cam Timing Adjusters

2003-2004 Yamaha R6 front triple clams, forks, fender, brakes and wheel. The 2003 & 2004 R6 front end was considered by many people the best front end at the time. The triple clamp alone weighs 5lbs less than the SV. Penske rear Shock

KFG Racing’s Barry Wressell set up the suspension for a 175lb rider.

Plus; PowerCommander 2 with custom fuel map & Quick Shifter / Yoyodyne slipper clutch / Marvic Magnesium Rear Wheel / Scotts steering dampener / Woodcraft rear sets and clip-ons / racing sub-frames / racing gauges / sv650 first generation radiator (because the first gen SV had a smaller radiator and was less prone to damage), / steel braided brake lines, R&D Custom Titanium shorty exhaust, R&D Custom Lightened rear brake disc, plus more.

I’m including all my spare parts for this bike. I have multiple cylinder heads, engine cases, rods, cam adjustors, ECM, alternator assembly, etc. Extra front and rear wheel. Rear sets, clipons, levers, etc.

This is a great bike and everything works great. I had a great time building this race bike and now I want to start my next project. $4,000.

I can't wait for the sheer amount of carnage there will be the first time the meat grinder classes dive into T1.
So more practice is always better...

However, I'm guessing none of the 750SS racers will be able to take advantage of the third practice, since Group 5 practice is immediately before their race (and probably 99% of 750SS racers practice in group 5).

I will probably just sign up for a practice group I don't normally belong in, so I can get that third practice session in.

It's organized a bit differently, and it might be harder to find your photos, but you get them faster this way... Let me know your thoughts about it.

With that said, it was an awesome day with 2Fast with beautiful weather. Aside from the douche who decided to smoke up the track for a session with his CBR and got himself black flagged, it was a pretty fun day.

Checked the schedules with 2-fast, Epic, Mike Sullivan, but there is nothing scheduled/offered :headscratch:
