Lap Timers

Hello,

Wanted to get recommendations on on-board lap timers and find out what kind of setups are in place during events at PR and PIR. Do either clubs segment their respective tracks??

I don't believe there are any split times taken at either track. If you're a NESBA member, you can get a wee discount on the XT Racing UltraLap Lap Timers (http://www.nesba.com/Info/Sponsors.aspx). $169 through them, or $174 at helmetharbor.com, I think.

It's the one that all the cools kids use. :cool: I love mine, and know a number of racers that use them. I'd just buy the timer (with the 20" cord, not 6'), and forget about the beacon. Every event that I've been to, there have been multiple beacons out on the wall already, so you just need the receiver.
