Registration Help Needed

I need someone to handle the Registration rider receipts at Tech. If I don't get someone to step up and take on this position then we will have to go back to pre-paid's being at the Registration Tent.

Hrs 6:30-9am

Some minor financial reimbursement available.

Stupid question... If people prepaid, why dont we allow them to print the receipt at home and then they can go straight to tech inspection that way?

This is assuming that every racer has computer/printer access. Can you imagine the logistical nightmare of me having to try and figure out who needs me to print out their paperwork and who can print out their own?

As the process stands now, if you don't pickup your paperwork then you are recorded as a "no-show" and not charged entry fee. If we were to have you print paperwork out at home then I would have to charge entries at that time and then have the racer fill out a refund form if they didn't show. This would cause more work for the already over-worked Treasurer.

I guess I don't understand why you think that printing your own would be an advantage since if you pre-pay you already can just go straight to tech inspection. (assuming I find someone to be in charge of the forms at tech)

Ahh, makes sense. I guess I just figured everyone had a printer these days. :)
The refund aspect is a valid point too. :)

I didn't think it was an advantage but rather was looking for a way you to not need someone at Tech Inspections for the the prepaid receipts. However, I can see why you need someone there now. :)

Shellie, let me ask my wife...We live in the Yakima Valley, but I am planning on making all the events as long as I can get the time off work (I work shift work). Some weekends she may only be available on Saturday's due to Church commitments on certain Sundays.

I will let you know ASAP.

Excellent, Thanks Adam. This will help for sure. I have some existing volunteers that can fill in the days that she can't but I'd like to not pull them away from their primary jobs if possible, so any time that she can work is greatly appreciated.

So anyone else out there want to step up and fill in the times that Adam's wife won't be there?

So my wife said she's game (shellie i'll send you an email). She's available for every weekend except for the May 6th/7th weekend (made plans before I gave her that date).
