Need some help here. Most of you know my little stud Trey that rips around the pits sliding the rear end of his pw50. Hes 6 and has the urge to start racing perhaps. I do not know what direction to put him in. Does anybody or can anybody point me in the direction of getting a six year old on a track?

thank you for your time

Jason

Flat track and motocross will probably be the only ones he can compete in.

I know there's some folks doing it around here I just cant' remember when where ect...

I'd also talk to Elana Myers as she frequents these boards.

Flat track is where JD Beech (sp) and Benny Solis started and they're both in Red Bull Rookies cup, I believe JD won last year.

Jason, my son John has been mini roadracing since age 5. He'll be stepping up to the 125GP ranks at the Spokane round after 5 1/2 years of mini racing on kart tracks. He started on an XR50 on scooter tires, then a heavily modded KX65, then a YZ85 and a CRF150r. Give me a call, I may be able to point you in the right direction for your young 'un, and I can certainly help you find proper roadracing safety gear (John got his first custom Vanson suit at age 5).
