Missing: EDR built "green missile"
After an exhaustive search we have been unable to locate the incredibly fast EDR built/tuned green Kawasaki ZX10r known as the "green machine" or the "green missile". Please search your trailers and ask your friends. A reward of $500 EDR bucks has been offered for it's safe return.
This last weekend at wmrra Sully had to make due with whatever he had lying around which was unquestionably inferior equipment. Don't allow this kind of travesty to happen to Sully again. He doesn't deserve it! Find his rocket ship!

I haven't seen anyone doing well on a ZX10, probably Sully has done the best so far. Not a good chassis for sure, Kawasaki makes good hp, but does not go around corners. Maybe we should do a drag race on Friday Night in Spokane, see who comes out on top for MPH?? That would be interesting...

Here is my post reply to Brian on the other forums. ANYONE in the stands Sat/Sun could see Sully;s ZX10 is fast! They could also see the bike flat out SHXT in the busstop even.
************************************************** ***
I have one of the biggest sense of humors, however Pedi-Smile as he is know in the pits is just a dick. thats all.
Our ZX10 IS fast! At PIR with an almost 1/2 mile straight it has the highest traps speeds by far. At Seattle last weekend, he had the fastest straight splits of all 4 top bikes. However our LAP TIMES suck..the chassis is PURE SHIT! (Sorry Kawi, those that know me, know i bleed green!) We have struggled HORRIBLY with the chassis all year...3 shocks, forks, raise it, lower it, tires, pressures, etc... NOTHING is working. Im NOT a chassis guy (Thats up to Barry W and Dave H at GP Suspension) Sullivan is one of the fastest guys in the NW and we have the fastest ENGINE..not too mention now on its 9 th complete race weekend, over 1,500 miles and not once has the valve cover even came off.
However, its a POS to ride. Those behind him that are the top guys as well have all said the same thing "the bike is fast, but wow, its not handling..he struggling so hard with it"
We also had the fastest splits on the straight for the weekend of 9.11 with Eli Edwards GSXR1000SB at 9.18 .....Ross Delongs GSXR1000SS at 9.41 and Mike M (track record holder/race winner) did a best 9.23...so HP ain't our issue.
Mike M (Brian M's) brother RIPPED out there this weekend. I gave him props in person and am in my race reports locally as well. You cant deny he rode his ass off and destroyed the track record. However HP is not key at Seattle, a great set up is! Mike M has his bike (Best one IMO, GSXR1000) dialed in and working well. Fuzzy his tuner does a great job too. Add those two up with Mike M pushing himself hard and he won. Flat out.
For someone that blows up his engines EVERY weekend like Brian M to start this kind of shit is just what it is, shit.
I have posted up that i will pay $1,000 bet to Mike M and my rider Mike S to swap bikes at Seattle and do a 10 lap race. Anyone know what the odds are to that race??
Lastly, can someone please tell me when they last saw a 2004-2009 ZX10 team/bike dominate or even do well consistently?? Im pretty sure my old ZX7RR would be faster around the track then the ZX10.
Until Kawi goes back to REAL frames like the ZX7R and such, their 10 will keep loosing riders. We are the ONLY guys running one in the entire NW and i dont know of many others nation wide that are running them and yet they pay the best...maybe cause everyone knows they are crap to set up and get working right, especially within the SS rule for chassis.
Anyone else getting over 190 rwhp in a 2009 ZX10 SS bike AND getting it to handle, my hats off to ya!
Brian, your only taking away from your brothers great win/record and nothing else. I didnt ban you btw, one of the other 6 mods might have...but then again, i cant blame them.
Congrats again to Mike M for an awesome ride. He earned it at Seattle for sure!
Have a great day.

Oh, and since we are on the subject, here's my opinion. It's about race craft. So Ross gets the record on DOT's, nobody mentioned that. Then Mike M gets it on slicks. Still nothing about tires. It must be the engines, right? But wait, what if Sully is waiting for it to rain? How epic would that be to get the record on full rains? I really think that the old guy is up to some serious trickery, mark my words. Plus, who really remembers the mid-year records? I see this whole "record" thing blowing over by next week, July 1st tops. Just wait for October when it starts dumping down at lunch and first call comes over the loud speaker for Formula Ultra...

Here's a direct quote from Eric Dorn following a little good natured ribbing from me:
"hey douche bag thank god your brother is a nice guy! Cause your a douche! Here's a little fact for u. Sullys ZX10 SS LEGALLLLL bike has fastest splits on long straight!! However the chassis is such a diaseter it's stupid! Ask Ross who was behind him how BAD that ZX is! Luckily your brother has skills AND a GSXR! HP I WIN! talent plus chassis your brother did great! His bikes fast but not the fastest. Let's switch bikes and THEN u will stfu for sure.
I'm booting u for being a douche bag!! Sorry Mike M, I even mention in my not done race report u did great and rode your ass off! Told Fuzzy congrats too."
Really, Eric? Really?
And What are you insinuating by stressing that the ten is "SS LEGALLLLL"? I don't think anyone doubts that it's legal. I don't think anyone doubts that Mike's bike or Ross's bike is legal. The post was a joke. And what does Pedi-smile mean anyway?

A douche is a device used to introduce a stream of water into the body for medical or hygienic reasons, or the stream of water itself.
Douche usually refers to vaginal irrigation, the rinsing of the vagina, but it can also refer to the rinsing of any body cavity. A douche bag is a piece of equipment for douching—a bag for holding the fluid used in douching. To avoid transferring intestinal bacteria into the vagina, the same bag must not be used for a vaginal douche and an enema.

Not insinuating anything with regards to the other bikes cause i cant see inside them. Unless someone puts up, we all need to shut up. I was stating that because one person on here (he knows who he is) thinks/says we have certain race parts...but im still waiting for protest on the ZX10 to show its not. ANYONE that has done the newer ZX10's knows you can get big hp out of them.
getting them to handle is another story, hence NO ONE races them in the US competitively. Gee, $2,000 a win, easy to get big hp and cheapest 1000 yet no one running them....

OK, thats it... I'm coming out of retirement and will have the outright track record at the end of the season. One exception, gotta wait for the new leathers. Supposedly, there is new legislation out there stating that if more than 3 cows have to be sacrificed to make a set of leathers, then I have to go to congress and request an "exemption". I thought I would take the Kangaroo route, but found out that 26 kangaroos would have to be sacrificed. I will do all of this (breaking the track record) on Barry's old Fizzer! :D :D :D

Next round Spokane. Another BIG HP TRACK!
And more technical and fun than Portland in my not so humble opinion.
No doubt that Schmidt and Wilson are fast. Can't comment on their bikes, cuz I dunno who built em.
But we have our own A group of big bike riders. With a multitude of tuners.
Edwards (SpeedDealer Motors), McConaghy (Motors by Fuzzy), and De Long (self tuned, how cool is that?)
Should be interesting.
Tell Mike S to bring the BIG STICK, cuz there is gonna be some smack down!

Not at WMRRA.
For rules clarification they must speak with Phil our referee.
He can be reached at referee@wmrra.com
If he doesn't have the answer immediately he will research it and give a definitive ruling as quickly as possible.

-Per SS Rules
Can you
1. Remove or modify in any way the intake velocity stacks?
All stacks must remain installed in their original location (ie: You can't put them under the tail section or in the nose fairing). They must be installed but may be secured inoperative in the extended or retracted position.
2. Can you use a kit or aftermarket ecu?
Kit no, Aftermarket yes.
Section P, para 5, line ll. Fuel injection: All components involved in fuel injection systems must remain standard except electronic control modules which can be modified or replaced with aftermarket modules. Replacement modules must connect to original connectors. Aftermarket modules must be available for immediate shipment from US warehouses to any of the manufacturer’s US retail outlets for sale to the public. Availability must be maintained throughout the current racing season. Fuel maps may be modified.
Section P, para 6, first sentencea. Ignition: Ignition module (black box) must remain stock.
3. If you can use the above ecu's, do they have to be 100% plug in, or can you modify harness to fit?
Per the above statement, harness must remain unmodified. The gray area is the "Kit" designation. My understanding right now is that "Kit" ECU's require a "Kit" harness, so that whole part of the bike needs to be stock. Piggy back ECU's are okay, as long as the Ignition box remains stock. Replacement, to my understanding, is an OEM replacement for a damaged unit.
If we need to get any more granular, I will request that we all meet with the Supersport Rep (Ross Delong) at Spokane and we can discuss the finer points of the conversation. Anybody that has asked me questions understands that I am pretty understanding of the "finer points" of the rule book, and any sweeping statements that I make are usually routed throught he SS Rep to ensure that the class has been represented in the decision. A Homie history lesson……
Rhyming nicknames were fairly common in the 12th and 13th centuries,
such as Bill from William" and "Polly from Molly.” These were among the
earliest of the rhyming nicknames that first appearing in writing around
1220. Other rhyming nicknames include Hodge from Roger" Rob from Bob”, “Walt from Walter” and many more came to be in later generations.
It has been recently discovered in a Northwest cave that the term “Dick” is in fact another name for “Eric” even though no rhyming is involved. Why, because in studying these newly found 345 BC cave paintings, we see ONE stick figure named “Eric” being referred to as “DICK” by all the other pissed off stick figures.
Now the history lesson is complete.

I just wish we could get the Ref's to agree on whats legal and not legal for the 600's especially the R6....
For the record, each time that I have been approached with legality questions, especially the R6, I have had an answer by no later than the next morning and I have been very consistent and reliable with my answers. Unless it gets emailed to me from a gmail account, in which case my att.net response gets bounced as spam. But whatever. If anyone has a question, ask away as I really like discussing the fine points of the rule book and how it applies to today's modern motorcycles. Heck, ask Fuzzy and Lanigan how easy I am to get along with. Wait, don't ask Fuzzy, he thinks that I'm always picking on him.
Seriously, try me. You may be surprised.

That was funny!

All stacks must remain installed in their original location (ie: You can't put them under the tail section or in the nose fairing). They must be installed but may be secured inoperative in the extended or retracted position.
Kit no, Aftermarket yes.
Section P, para 5, line l
Section P, para 6, first sentence
Per the above statement, harness must remain unmodified. The gray area is the "Kit" designation. My understanding right now is that "Kit" ECU's require a "Kit" harness, so that whole part of the bike needs to be stock. Piggy back ECU's are okay, as long as the Ignition box remains stock. Replacement, to my understanding, is an OEM replacement for a damaged unit.

I agree, that's why it was a joke. This whole thread was a joke for the most part so I thought I'd contribute.
Not that I feel the need to explain myself but my former CBR1000RR was not a SuperBike. It had a mild SS build by EDR.
And, my new CBR will be the same, SuperSport legal. Actually since its already built and the motor has not been touched, it makes it pretty simple.
Either way, look for me to finish dead last unless Nico is racing, I will always beat him! :lol:

Dude.....I can't believe that you won't go race in OMRRA because you will be "gridded in the back"... you lost a lot of Man points in my book by making that comment... a racer is a racer... being gridded in the back and getting to the front would be even more braggin rights, if you have the stuff - you will make it to the front irregardless of starting position....
Nico's "randomnly generated novice grid position system" placed me in the back row at both my last races and I will admit that it was certainly less than ideal... However, it turned out to be the greatest 2 races I have ever had...

Okay, I have two comments. First, "irregardless" is not a word. The sentence you meant to write was more like "you will make it to the front regardless of starting position". (I'm going to deduct a couple of SMART points from you in my book) :pokestick:
And second, my comment was a response to the implied challenge for Mike to race against Sully at PIR to match the EDR built zx10 to Mike's gsxr on a horse power track. Mike will come to OMRRA to race at some point and so will I. We'll grid in the back and make jokes in the pits and generally goof around like we normally do. It's not some kind of ridiculous grudge match.

It's up to Phil on how he would proceed after a casual conversation.
I would expect some action if there is a obvious safety issue, however the WMRRA rule book is quite clear regarding protests.

Here are WMRRA's number for the last round
600SS = 25 vs 16
600SB = 20 vs 17
750SS = 28 vs 10
750SB = 30 vs 10
OpenSS = 13 vs 10
Formula Ultra = 14 vs 14
Now...if I could tell what bike they were on one could see if there were more 600's in 750 in WMRRA than in OMRRA.
