Since most of you stayed home to do yard work or keep couch warm last omrra round, i thought i'd share our latest build. For those that dont know the track record was 1:07.0 (broke by al at 1:06.9 this weekend) and DPW with only 1 day set up/ever on it, and bone stock forks (junk BPF!) and rearsets that had him ruin a pair of boots, he still did 2 3rd's and a 1:07.3 lap time! For all those haters they know my dyno is spot on (in fact EVERY mag in country getting 159-162rwhp stock) and this is with NO KIT ecu $$, NO "special sb16 $50/gal gas"..off the shelf VP U4.2 and bone stock lower end. Still 186rwhp on just U4.2, stock lower end, "just" an off the shelf yosh ss pipe, and 2 days to do engine, not too shabby i think.

Enjoy or flame. either way. Hope to see more WMRRA guys down here again next round...im TRYING HARD to get the OMRRA guys up there too.

30 HP in 15 days!

well not "our bike" but our first 2009 GSXR1000 we have built. The ENTIRE BUILD TOOK ONLY 15 DAYS! Hows that for "choppin wood"?

Huge props of course again, to my crew! Jay did an amazing job on the bike build up and with help of Gary, Chris and Nolan we were able to get it done on time between race events. Poor Sarah was on the phone non stop following up on parts, over night shipping, etc.

Huge thanks to our vendors and friends that helped us get this project done on time!

Bike did great on maiden voyage. Dan proving once again even thou he is giving up over 70lbs, 8" in height and width to the others in the Open class that he is still one of the fastest guys out there. Grabbing 2 3rd place finishes with only 1 day ever on it/setup and stock rearsets (woodcraft on way) that would not allow him to fully lean it over without draggin feet very badly. The new BPF front end was box stock from the dealer so that alone is impressive for him to do 1:07.3 on it!

We have rearsets coming as well as some new fork internals and with more set up Dan assures me another .5 sec's is easy. Should make for fun racing.

Bike turned out very good for only a 15 day complete build including the top end ss build. As you can see we got THIRTY yes 30 REAR WHEEL HP! Just with a full exhaust system (not even high $$ one), race gas, tuning and EDR SS build.

This is one of the first true privateer/club builds in the country and so far everyone that has seen dyno chart pretty impressed. Why hide it? I know some will, but i dont care..here is what we got...you get better? cool, congrats..post it up. I know with better gas (VP MR9 or Rtech Prov1) this same exact bike/build would be @190rwhp. We currently are starting in on a FULL SS build and hoping for 192-193rwhp and also a FULL SB build and hoping for mild sb build of 196-200.

Why just build FAST bikes when you can build FAST BIKES BEAUTIFUL TOO!

Stay tuned for more.

ENJOY!

What's with the blocking out of the swingarm pivot?

I was thinking the same thing. Seems odd that you would have those blocked out on a SS bike.

why is it odd guys? if you have an adjustable swingarm pivot maybe its been adjusted? Maybe some have been riding coat tails too long and we dont want to show them what we found? :D

Its not rocket science, but its out science and our riders pay us to build them the fastest bikes and some things we'd rather let the others find out themselves. FYI the frame was taped over during entire weekend too, so unlike one guy on another forum, looking thru the other pics from weekend wont show it. The 09 is VERY different from the 08 older bikes..

That's kind of interesting. Especially since I've heard from OMRRA that you aren't allowed to adjust the swingarm pivot in the Super Sport class and in the results it looks like this bike ran in Open SS.

Hmmm.... :pokestick:

Yeah I saw the pictures before you blocked out the pivot on your site and they looked normal.

So I call BS on the whole deal.

Like I said, I'd first have to care.....
