Actually your problem is that you didn't just turn it in. You froze and stood it up.
No worries..I did the same thing a couple of years ago right there....but I took someone else with me.

If you watch in slow you can watch the front tuck at turn in and silde had the same problem at miller but had a bit more run off bottomed the forks and asked to much from the tire. Was haveing the same problem else where on track. I should of just let it tuck insted of picking it up and trying to go moto. It was my fault lesson learned.

I had the same problem when I gave up. the front slide and I stood it up. I should have thrown it in...prolly would have made it myself.
Nice form on the dismount. That looks like it still sucks. Troy341

I have been thinking the same. In some of the slower turns it would tuck stick and all was well, but those were places where you just throw it in. If i encounter this again i will keep turning in and risk a low side becuse the trip over the bales is no fun at all!

why has no asked "how come NO RUN OFF" or "why are bales SO close to track" ????
seems if he had at least a bit more run off before the bales matt might have at least slowed bike down more...less impact.

We don't ask because it is Spokane and we are used to not having much run off.
From the video it looks like the mount that was there has now been removed. Is that the case?

Just be happy that most of the big rocks, cars and other junk have been removed. This was the first race weekend back in over a year. It will take a little time and talking with the new track owners in order to get all the safety measures in place.

shawn, thats pretty ignorant (but i know your joking) i LOVE to hear how much better it is...but does that mean we dont keep giving them feedback and ask for even MORE safety??

Have the bales allways been that close to the track? I crashed there in 03 and if I recall correct the bales were right on the edge of the hill?
