Just wanted to pass on a little info for the coming weekend.
The 2009 Pirelli contingency was posted earlier but here are some answers to some other questions that have been posed.
Pirelli has switched to a debit card system. You will receive the card automatically if you earned $100.00 or more last season. The card will come with $50.00 already loaded on the card as a thankyou for your patience and loyalty. The new cards will be sent out within two weeks.
Riders who did not earn $100.00 or more last season will have the new cards mailed to them after they submit thier first contingency results for this season.
You do not have to register again if you are already registered in the past. However it is a good idea to go online and check your account profile to make sure that you have all the important info there. Many issues were caused in the past by riders who had incomplete addresses and no SN numbers in the profile. The more info, the better! We are going to be all over Pirelli this year to make sure contingency gets paid properly and quickly but we need to make sure the proper info is there for them to work with.
You do not have to submit another W9 form if you already have!
However, if you have regsitered for contingency as a bussiness, you WILL have to submit another W9 form. You can print off the 2008 template and just use that.
I will be plan to be at the first round to give Tom a hand and offer any technical assistance that you require. Please come and see me and say hello. I'll be the guy in the Pirelli shirt shivering and holding a coffee!:burnout:
