2006 R6 pipe on older R6 ??

Any one know if it's possible to put one of those new little r6 pipes on an older r6? Or if it would really screw things up? Mines a 99-01 R6 ,and i like the little side mount pipe on the new r6's.

if you think it will fit,i can get you a stock exhaust for cheap$.let me know if interested,might also have other stock parts for your bike

Anything can be done with enough money.

But to better answer the question, there are a few issues. The new system is an EXUP system. 05 & older R6's are not. The "little pipe" isnt a slip-on like your bike is. Its really just a straight through pipe. The muffler part of it is all under the bike. You'd have some tuning to go through, issues matching up the pipes, issues mounting it, and it would be almost too loud to stand it.

So then any functional exhaust would be lost? ..and it would probably be too loud to be legal on the track ?? ....darn....
