Hey everybody-
There is a Supermoto practice day scheduled this Sunday the 8th at Port Angeles Speedway in, you guessed it, Port Angeles. Track goes green at 10 AM and runs to 5 PM. Here's a link to the discussion (http://www.supermotojunkie.com/showthread.php?t=76447)on supermotojunkie.com.
If anyone needs more information, let me know and I will dig around for it. Location is easy to find, right off the 101 between Sequim and Port Angeles, about an hour from the Kingston Ferry and about 1 1/2 hours from Tacoma.
Good clean fun, and cheap! I don't know the exact price, but expect it to be below $50 for the entire day.

What about the tires?
Yuk yuk. That is cool, so listen up everyone, bring your dirtbike, quad, pit bike, supermoto, whatever and join in the fun. The more people that show up, the more events we get. It's a win-win situation. And cheap.

You got me all figured out, don't you? That is my second or third favorite word. Of course, I race bikes, so cheap doesn't always play into the equation. However, like Ron says,
How many trackdays can you get for $35?
Werd.

Phil,
I've gotta get in on this action, I've got an old KTM 360 that I don't get nearly enough time on. This weekend is booked though, working on the boat, are there other practice days coming up??

Boat? In this economy? If you need help with the old girl, let me know as I used to do that kind of stuff for a living.
I will post a link later with the current race schedule, but practice days are short announce. I will keep everyone posted, though.
I gotta get Mad Max the Husqvarna running again. Turns out a magneto for a 1991 Husqvarna is a bit rarer than I thought it would be.

I gotta get blah blah blah... poor me with a rare European bike, I get no respect, blah blah
Buy a runner next time, or stop working on it yourself. We need to get you some air time. Sheesh, I haven't heard this much complaining since I owned my Alfa Romeo.

Pfft, it's all xcuses. Stuff a battery in there and it'll probably run total loss ignition just fine for as much as Will can handle in one day without a working magneto. I would be a little apprehensive of that bike at PA though, it's such a fooking beast I'd be running out of skill quite often! :wow:

We will be having more practice days soon. We are also planning on having several team races this year (think edurance racing, but with forced rider changes at certain intervals). Since the weather is predicting snow we are pushing this practice day back a week. If you want to brave the conditions, dave will be there with the gate open. He said the group of quads will come out regardless of weather.

Yeah, I just read over at SMJ that the track will be reserved for next Sunday too, so all of you pansies (like me) can have another shot if the weather doesn't cooperate tonight/tomorrow.
Maybe customs will finally allow the magneto into the country. They must think Husqvarna magnetos are contraband of some kind. Of course, people who have seen Mad Max the bike might think they are right.
