Hey, I am new the WMRRA and washington area in general..

I was wondering if Jake Holden ever makes it out to the WMRRA events? I see that he now has a solid ride with Jordan which is great... and I think he is from Eatonville right? I mapquested that and see that its pretty close to PIR.

I actually helped on Lyon racing / Hypercycle's pit crew in 2005 at laguna and brainerd when Jake was riding for them... It was really neat to meet him, his sister and the rest of the gang. Carey Andrews was a great guy to absorb info from as well.

anyone know if he is doing local stuff at all now that he has moved on to the big leagues?

He started with WMRRA - comes around occassionally.

He was with Jordan in '07. Then he rode for Corona Honda in '08, up until they fcuked him over. Now he seems to be registered for the Daytona 200 under "Holden Racing".

Yeah, he said Corona "threw him under the bus" when Neil Hodgson came available. Showed up at the Fontana tests after talking with the team owner the week prior and was suprised to see none of his crew/gear there!

He comes out a couple of times a year and always for the Seattle 100 that 2Fast does in July.

Just look for a gold/flake-Bass boat painted golf cart and you'll see Jake.. :)
