Guys and Gals:
I know that there was some issues with scoring this weekend. I also know that there were some of you who had transponders on your bikes, and that you showed up on the lap sheets, but were shown in the official results as DNS or NO SHOW or some other descriptive other than a number placement. It may seem that you "went missing" and your heat races won't count if it doesn't show up on the results.
DON'T WORRY. This heat will be counted toward your graduation requirements. (BTW, Novice is NOT a scored class. There is no glory in "winning" a Novice heat, other than the admiration of your friends and
family.)
That's also what the graduation form is for. You can find these at Registration, or you can print one online from the WMRRA website. If you keep this with you (why not keep it in the pocket of your leathers, with your med form???) you will always have a record of your heat races with you for verification. As long as you are tracking this information on the form you don't have to rely on the printed results for documentation. But just so you know, I can always verify your attendance with Registration and Scoring... (it's also the place to record your volunteer requirement/completion. The Air Fence guy (Chris Denzler #8) and the Corner Captain (Liz Chaffin) must sign off your participation on this same form.)
