Ok so since the secret is getting out... yes I work at a powder coating and plating shop. No I can't do your stuff for free.

Here is what I can do:

Sand blast, mask and powder coat any single stock color:

One set of wheels (2) for $100 plus tax
$100 more for a second set of wheels if coated the same color as first set.

Frame and swing arm: $200 to $275 (one color) plus tax

Multiple colors or double coating will increase the price 80% or more due to clean up for a color change and oven time.

Shop minimum lot charge is $100 for powder coat.

If you just have to have some special color of powder coat, you will have to buy the powder. It can cost from $3 up to $30 per pound with 2, 5 or 50 pound minimum buys.

Turn around time is about one week.

The shop is open from 7 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday.

Yea, Production Plating 425 347-4635. Also in Mukilteo. Ask for Monty Wallace. Tell him I sent you if you want to be taken serious. Normally they don't do much walk in type of work, just big runs of the same part. They also have the largest selection of colors available.

Do I need to remove the wheel bearings before bringing them in??

Yes. Otherwise they will leak out grease all over and wreck the finish before it cures. Powder coat cures at 400 degrees.

Yes we can do car and truck rims. They do cost a bit more. Normally we charge $300 for 4 large rims (that's for sandblasting off wet paint or raw surfaces - rims that already have powder coating on them we would charge the blasting by the hour, cuz it's so hard to get off).

Smaller wheels would be less.
