To All,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated
in the New Rider Clinic this past weekend. Even though the weather was
less than ideal, it mostly went off without a hitch. Most all of my new
folks came through relatively unscathed; can't say the same for a couple
of my mentors. KC, get well soon and come back faster than ever!

The race day staff, corner workers and registration folks were all very
patient and kind, helping these folks get where they needed to be. I
appreciate all your assistance.

Now for the major props: Mark Creager, you were instrumental in helping
me get this done with such great success. I can't thank you enough for
all your assistance and guidance. The mentors (who are too numerous to
mention) THANK YOU for stepping up and volunteering your time and
expertise. Especially Brad Gua, Phil Clarke, Phil Cook and Tom Deem.
You guys were there for me when some of the mentors were otherwise
unable to make it out with their novices; stepping up to help is what
this club is all about. Shellie Matthews, what can I say. You were the
glue that held this all together. I owe you big time. There will be
chocolate in your future. I'm sure there are others whom I've
forgotten; you know who you are and I can't thank you enough.

And last but not least, to the novices. You guys and gals were great.
You listened, paid attention and did just exactly what you were supposed
to do. That makes my job much, much easier. Excellent job!!!

Here's hoping the second NRC goes as well as this one did!

Thanks,
Diane Thompson

Thanks again

Thank you everyone for making this past weekend kick ass!!! Especially Diana and Shellie as I am sure there was lots of stuff they did behind the scenes to help make it work that we never saw!

Everything rocked...racing....what freaking thrill!!!

Diana did say it would rain...but she never mentioned hail! :)

Thanks for the great weekend! My first novice race could have went better, No broken bones, just brusied up. If you dont know i was the guy that went down in turn two on the 2nd lap. Bike went into false neutral and i freaked out got death grip and didn't lean my bike over. I learned alot from the NRC and really learned what to do if my bike does that again. Thanks to all the staff, novices, and especally LASH for showing me and colin some awsome time in the rain. :)

Ah sucky JWinn....I saw you out there and thought "Damn that sucks!"

My bike kept popping out of 6th right after I engaged it....problem is that is when I was going right at the right side wall in the chute.

I believe I placed 3rd -- Jared (Team EMS also) took first, followed by ?? (some other really fast guy! ...returning novice I believe) But anyhow, What place I finished isn't as important to me as knowing everyone came out ok, and will be there again next race-day. I think the whole weekend went REALLY well! Congrats to all!
