I'm hearing a lot of different numbers from various people on this, so I wanted to find out from some of those that have been racing @ Pacific & Spokane. I'll also be running Pirelli's which I heard dictates some of the gearing back of tire height.

Which gearing are you running at each track?

I've heard 17/43 for Pacific

I believe that 17/43 is stock on a 750, I went down a tooth, at the suggestion of one of the faster riders that used to be in WMRRA, in the front (16/43) and it gave the bike a little more low end for PR.

i know this is old...
on my Michelins (190/55/17) i used 16/44 for both Spokane & PR. on the Dunlops (190/60/17) i use 16/45. i'm on a litre bike but the same gearing theories still apply.

Gomoto, just curious what kind of lap times you run at both tracks that utilize this gearing? Does it work well even if you catch a great draft on your litre bike?
