I will be racing novice this season for my first time and am curious to see what bikes will be joining me out there.

I have just finished a 05' R6 and can't wait to hit the track on the 22nd to get used to her. I owned a 03' 954 RR and a 03 F4i that have been on the track but this will be the first with the r6. I have a full yosh pipe, power commander all new gearing, breaks ect.... What am I going to see out there!

I will be on a '02 CBR600F4i. I and it have seen the track a fair amount last year including one really cool display of what not to do on the front straight. :)

Only kidding about the Zemke Honda, a little pre-April 1st humor :) couldn't help myself.
Although, that bike was for sale at Rising Sun Cycles for 17K, got sold over the last week or so though.

Anyway, here's to a fun safe season.

I plan on making as many, if not all the WMRRA events and about 10 track days between 2-Fast, AF, and Cascade Tracktime.

Never ridden Spokane...heard it sucks.

There's nothing wrong with spokane outside of its shitty runoff. I like Spokane a lot. It has some tight stuff and some not so tight stuff. Sure it could use some more elevation change but its still a fun track.

You heard wrong. The Spokane track is an absolute blast to race on, the pavement is way better than Seattle, and there's no death chute.

What's the point of passing along 2nd hand opinions about some place you've never been -- how useful is that supposed to be anyway?

I wasn't passing along anything. I simply stated that I had never ridden there, and that I HEARD it sucked, opening the subject up for comment hoping that I would hear different...which I did.

I have to agree with Tim...there are a lot of opinions about Spokane but it has drastically improved since I started racing and I'm sure even more than when Tim started racing...and if anyone knows about the improvements it's Tim since he lives like 30 mins from the place.
I really like the track even though I've had a nasty get off there! Still a good clean fun track to race on!

Is Spokane fun, yes, can it be improved, yes. But hell PR can be improved with the run off in places as well. Each of the 2 tracks we have access to in WA both have plus's and minus's so you have to take what you can get. IMO.

Glad to hear that what I have been told was inaccurate. I tend to always take other peoples opinions with a grain of salt until I can form my own. Pacific does scare me but I still go out and ride as fast I can. There is something about trees at the exit of a corner that just doesn't seem right. Still love it though..and can't wait to see/ride Spokane myself this season.

The only reason I haven't ridden there yet is the lack of track days available.
Anyone know why? I know that NESBA and Mike Sullivan offer a couple but why isn't there more?

You can rent Spokane for private track days. Min of 6 riders. It's a flat cost of $110-$125 per person depending on if you want the old guy to sit in the "ambulance" or not.

Wow.. Glad to see all you posting up! I will also be out on the track on the 22nd #826! I just got this R6 and have yet to actually ride the damn thing besides my neighboor hood. Look forward to seeing you all there. However i'm guessing I'll see most of ya tommorw at the classroom session. Talk to ya then :D

Are you serious about the track rental? Do you have any contact info? I think that would be friggin awesome to have a "Private Trackday". I'm sure I can muster up 6 people!!

I'll dig up the info when I get home.

We rent it 3-4x a year and just go out there with our friends.
