Have my first track day this spring and am planning on sticking with it as long as I've got the cash to do so. I'm lacking a trailer, though. So I'm open to any advice you all have on acquiring the right one for the right price. I know you've all got one!

Open/Enclosed?
Tilt/Ramp?
New/Used?

I've heard rumors about getting huge discounts on new enclosed trailers by picking them up at the factory. Is this true? And are any factories around here?

What I'm hoping for is a trailer that I can haul two bikes (600 and 1000) on and also use for a utility trailer when needed for moving or hauling things around. Looking to spend no more than $2000.

I appreciate any advice you have. So far I've been checking Craigslist, The Echo, local papers, and eBay for deals, but have found very few. And even fewer that aren't snatched up in a matter of minutes.

I bought a Haulmark Cub last year from a local dealer on the Island for $2300.00 CAD. I know they were coming out with a new model and the price was going up to $2700. You should be able to get a similar one down there for cheaper. My trailer is enclosed, 5'x8'. Fits two bikes easy, plus gear.

Enclosed trailer is a much better option. If you are out of town, everything is locked up inside. Your bike never gets dirty from wet roads. Plus its a great little shelter from the sun and rain. :D

Good luck
