Yes I spoke with his Wife about 30 minutes ago. (she answered his phone)

Mark will be fine but out of respect for Mark. I will not post info about the crash or his injuries until I have permission from him.

Just let it be known, he will be ok.

Sorry to hear Mark, hope you heal up quick. On the bright side, anytime you can get your name in the same sentence as Gobert it's a pretty good thing!

. . . maybe I can get Mladin to take me out at the Seattle 100?

I'm startign to think its a bad thing since it usually involves some sort of crash.

Wasn't he involved in the crash with Amber Rimes back at Fontana?

Man he just got his "go-ahead and race" slip signed...and now this.

Wonder who is going to win the bionic man contest at the banquet this year?

Lash or Mark :beerchug:

I just saw Mark about an hour ago. He's back at the track but obviously not racing. I will not get into details. He can provide those if he wants.

I know I was just telling my brother the WMRRA riders meetings are going to be more like a titanium convention.

Thanks for all your support guys. We were REALLY sad to see it! I was timing him in Practice going "wow...a 3:06 on lap 3..he's gonna be top 20 for sure this weekend" Then i alway look at T7 around 1:00min mark to see splits for my guys and i was like "SHXT! whats that dust cloud...wheres mark...wheres gobert?" (they were close in T1-4 that i could see)

THen we knew it was him. Our moods fell like rocks. We finally heard he was "ok" but going to be medivac'd out due to his arm. (the long ambulance ride might have done more damage to his nerves)

He had surgery to put in as Mark later bragged "the largest rod ever" at 10mm in his left arm. Mark as crazy as he is was BACK at the track to watch and hang out only 24hrs later...total nut sometimes! :D

He was in GREAT spirits and typical mark was like 'well thats racing..it sucks but at least im alive and walking" which is one of the best things about him...always positive and upbeat!

LIke i posted on my forum, Aaron DID come over and explain he messed up and was looking down at bike when he then realized the turn was RIGHT there...he felt VERY bad and was very genuine in his apology. Later that weekend i again stopped by to talk to him and you can tell the guy really was a class act, took total responsibility for as he said "i just fuxxed up".

Mark and fam left with trailer/truck and should be home later tonight after swinging by my shop to drop off the bikes.

Please if you do have his phones...give him a few days to settle in folks!

The entire EDR crew was glad to see him back at the track so soon and at same time bummed cause we know he would have done us proud! Next time brother we'll get em!

thanks guys

Yeah... same thing.... no reason for it. He did apologize too, but he hit me between turn 2 and 3 at Fontana AMA. Miles of pavement in that area but drove right into me.....Very Strange.

Here's the aftermath - 110mph

I dont know about the other two incidents but Gobert was nothing but a class act after what happened to Mark. The guy genuinely (sp?) felt bad.

Heal up quick Mark. Hope the trip back went well. :)

Let me know if you need anything else.

Aaron has been at the Seattle 100 event and was nothing but a class act.

He obviously has some concentration issues, but he seems like very nice guy. Just have to get him to pay attention 100% of the time that he is on a hot track. :)
