Wednesday Feb 22 to Lynwood

I am planning to ride over to the General Meeting in Lynwood from Kitsap County across the Edmonds Ferry and back. It's going to be a cold one, I am sure, but I've only been commuting part time so far this year...

Meeting starts at 7:30, I'm shooting for the 5:50 ferry from Kingston, 30 minutes to Edmonds, maybe 20 mintues to Amante's, plenty of time to get there early and get warmed up before the meeting starts. I am on SUBASE Bangor, I will look for riders to meet at Poulsbo Central Market ready to leave by 5:20. I will probably only be there for about ten minutes or so. Ferry round trip is $9.20 on a bike, $21.10 with a cage. Dress warm!

Sweet! I'll be glad to have someone with me for the dark ride back. I broke out my riding blanket last night... with a few well placed heating pads, I think I will be warm enough. I installed a set of Sylvania super lights, or whatever, too... I'm not a big fan of riding at night, especially in unfamiliar territory over in Lynwood and on the Kingston highway (deer!), but I've prepped the best I can. I took the time last night to replace a running light and cleaned my electrical contacts, too. Did I mention that my wife went back to see her family in Shanghai yesterday, too? :rolleyes:

No other takers from this side of the sound... I will roll through Central Market after 5 just to check. See you all over there!
