We are new here so if this is the wrong forum I apoligize.

I'm trying to find out in the exact order how to get my son on the track.

He's 14 been racing motocross for 3 years shifter karts prior to that and wants a try at road racing. Aside from us having a hard time locating a race worthey RS125 (RS125!@%), what is the next thing we need to do? Any schools, liscenses, applications ect... We are in Vancouver, Wa. and would like to get started at PIR as soon as possible.
Thanks for any help.

Do you want to race in WA @ PR or OR @ PIR?

Get in touch with Mario Alvarez of Adrenaline Freaks Trackdays (www.adrenalinefreaks.com). His son is underage like yours and he'll probably have a lot of advice. Most race organizations around here require the rider to be 16yo to compete - I think (but am not sure) that WERA is the nearest race org that will allow younger kids.

Randy Grien also has a son who races - and has raced with WMRRA since he was (I think) 14.
