Any suggestions on where I should go to have someone set-up my suspension?

Last year, I shipped my stock 954 forks and Penske shock to GP Suspension. Extemely quick turn around and Dave tweaked on the bike at the track as needed per my input from the track.
If your budget is tight and you don't plan on any shock or fork mods, at least get the static and rider sag dialed in. You and a couple buddies can do that yourself or have GP or Fluid Suspension do it at the track.
Dave Alexander (Fluid Suspension) used to be at the 2-Fast track days setting sag and tweaking for a small donation to the Nephcure Foundation. Don’t know if he is doing that again this year or not.
GP will be at the races and I believe he sometimes makes it to the Friday AF track day.

Rich,

Thanks for the help! How much do the fork and shock mods usually cost? I don't know squat about suspension. Here is what is on the bike I just got: GMD revalved forks and an Aftershocks rebulit and sprung shock. The guy I bought the bike from was about 180lbs (I am only 160lbs) and he was an expert rider (I am a novice). Do I need to purchase anything new, or just have the current parts set-up for me? I will be at the 2-Fast trackday on 3/22 so I can get the tweaking done then. I have heard great things about GP and Fuid Suspension, but would like to know a little more before I give them a call. Any more help you could give would be great.

If I were you I would go with current parts and adjust to you. Once you get a feel after riding it at the track, you can talk to Dave and see what he suggests based on what you tell him the bike is doing. Dave is a great guy and has always been straightforward me. What I like the most about him is he will not suggest you buy the most expensive thing. He will give you options and let you choose.

Thank you for the help. Does anyone have Dave's phone number? I haven't been able to find it anywhere. Also, where is his shop located?

You also have a local option. Dave Alexander does awesome suspension work and does the work on Sullivan and KC Clarkes bike.

http://www.fluidsuspensionscience.com is his company

He did my suspension last year (and will be redoing it for me this year). I was very pleased with what he did and his customer service.

Just another option for you...
