looking for some advice

hello, i am looking to get into raceing motorcycles because it looks like a ton of fun and im some what of a speed demon, i have only raced cars so far (not legaly/sponsored for those wondering) but i am looking to get into motorcycles because i would like to own one but i also want to race it and the WMRRA seams like just the group to do it with, i dont know much about motorcycles or raceing them but how would i know what to look for in a first bike (to ride normaly and race)? how do i get into races with people that are begginers like me? and any other advice you might have to offer would be appritiated.

R1fan, racing is expensive but if you can afford to get a newer bike I would! If not there are always race preped bikes for sale on the forums and at race events. Pick a bike that fits your build and riding knowledge before you pick the bike thats the fastest or best looking...etc..Best of luck E.
