Yes, just show at the radio shack at 7 and check in with Liz. You can get to the radio shack by turning right at the booth when you enter the raceway. Thanks for working!

You should email Liz, I know due to weather a few novice wanted to corner work this weekend and they are full.

Thanks all for a great (cold) day! Sunday T7 - your friendly corner station!

Thank you to everyone that corner worked this weekend in cold, nasty, wacky :pokestick: weather! I appreciate you all bundling up and stiking with it. Although I missed the racing Sat I heard it was the "usuall" first race weeekend. Now Sunday on the other hand I'm still chuckling about. Spring, racing and snow? Just doesn't make much sense to me. :headscratch: Some great pictures that prove those unusual conditions and the dedication that the racers, race day staff and fans have to the sport in the PNW. :beerchug:

But remember, a cold, nasty ass day at the track is better than a good day at work! I sure as hell would have rather been there Sat than at my office!

The consensus among corner workers is that you are far better off racing on a cold nasty weekend than corner working. For novice racers who have not yet been signed off, this is something to think about this summer.
If you think running 10 laps in cold rainy weather sucks, try spending 8 hours freezing your ass off out in a corner.

Having worked the Oct 07 weekend and now the Mar 08 weekend I can tell you that giving up a race day when it's warm and sunny is small price to pay not to be miserable all day. Besides, watching the top riders racing in the dry is far more entertaining / educational.

Oh yeah, FYI setting up / tearing down air fence under similar conditions is no piece of cake either. Expect to spend 2+ hours working on this, and if it's cold and raining and windy, well you get the idea.
