Legal for supersport? Based on the verbage of the rulebook, it looks like the quick-shifter portion isn't legal, but the TC functionality would be.

Neither of those interest me too much, but the realtime wideband fuel mapping does, which involves adding an o2 sensor to the exhaust. I can't find anything in the rulebook that would make this illegal.

If I'm reading everything correctly, the full $1000 Bazzaz unit would be legal on a SS bike provided you didn't install the quickshifter sensor/rod, but you'd still retain traction control and realtime fuel mapping.

Thoughts?

No matter what you think, it is always advisable to get in writing from the ref if it is legal for SS or not. I personally think that it is legal, just by the way that the rules are written, but it's always nice to have backup, just in case someone asks about it. Also, you can install the quickshifter, you would just need to unplug it for SS, and plug it back in for SB (if you run those classes).

All I know is that no one has been able to get one yet, We have had one on order for over 4 months now. Though I saw them on the Jordan bikes and Jake said they worked great (T.C.) they have yet to ship any.
