That's wierd cause Knott's Powersports (Kawasaki) has tried over and over to become a vendor as the sportbike scene here in the Valley has really exploded, and LP has NEVer gotten back to them. Weird..

I don't know the answer to that question since it's news to me. You should ask Wendell? And while on the phone with him you should let him know how feel about these so called horrible turn of events. It may resolve some of these issues EDR Performance is having with LP.

As much as I hate to say this, Chris has every right to ask Eric to tone it down. Chris is in charge of "moderating" this place, and he has the power to remove any person that does not show what he can deem the right amount of respect or civility. This is a public forum, we should all act like we are standing right next to the person that we are talking to. This forum has been pretty good about self-regulating, but if need be, I have no problems with people getting spanked for being an asshat in public, if that public space is associated with WMMRA, myself included.

Ive TRIED for over TWO YEARS! I have left maybe 20+ voice mails, emails, etc. NOT ONE answered. Nice way to treat a 8 yr (at my shop, 4yrs before that at another shop) customer huh? Our salesman Oliver rocks! but then again, they switch out every 6 months...Brett B was the STUD but he too left for Yani Shiki.

Just a nice way to cut those dealers that have TRIED to support you legs out from under them. NOTHING wrong with privateer support, but what about the dealers that STOCK YOUR stuff and sell your stuff YEAR ROUND?

just frustrating that a shop can be LONG time "customer" and spend $$$$$ and stock your stuff, but your willing to sell a NOVICE that has NEVER EVER even raced yet but has a membership # a pipe for dealer cost! Nice support man!

Guess thats why so many guys that DONT have a local shop like EDR, Speeddealer, etc, etc cry so much..maybe if all the local shops closed, then ppl would realize the harm in this type of bullshxt!

Ill take it over to our forum. Wonder if LP will offer kick ass mapping of your bike once all the local shops are gone? just bs! Like i said i have ZERO issues with sponsorship, hell a guy like Eli DESERVES sponsors! But i see guys that are total street guys that get a license somehow and suddenly they are buying for them and their buddies stuff cheaper than i can.

Im done. LP will be gone soon enough seeing how many vendors are dropping them. Maybe one day the OWNER of a company will take concern and return a phone call.

We have that same issue with auto parts, any joe blow can walk into my supplier and get the same price or close to it as my wholesale price, WTF? :mad:

I feel your pain. Untill you're the one writing the checks and balancing the bank account, it is difficult to appreciate how hard it is to build a successful business. To be undercut by the very companies you give business to is an insult. For that same comany to advertise thier ablility to undercut you in your primary market place is something much worse. :firedevil:

It's easy to see the owner of any company as the guy who "has it made". The truth is the owner is the one who has the most to lose. If you think having a company like EDR in our own backyard is cool, then spend your money there. Our sport is a niche, and not a very big one (from a business perspective). It takes consistent sales to make it work or they go away and we all loose. LP's "sale" is taking money right out of Eric's pocket, I'd be angry too.

I understand your frustration but untill any of us here understand what it takes in this day and age in being a 25 year old distributor with over 10,000 motorcycle products to purchase, import, package and resell, we shouldn't go further. Beside's we are siting in front of are computers pissed when we should all be out riding! :) AHH yes riding, my true passion and main reason I work in this crazy $un-rewarding$ motorcycle industry!
