Lap Timer Beacon

Hey, I just got an XT Lap Timer for my birthday (Lucky me!) It asks which side to look for the beacon on, left or right. Anyone out there using an XT? Is there a 'permanent' beacon at PIR? And if so, is it left or right?

PIR or PR.

AT portland it goes on the left. At Pacific it goes on the right.

Yeah, sorry... Meant Pacific... I'm fucking old so my brain melded the old name, Seattle Int'l Raceway (SIR) with Pacific, to yield PIR, confusingly! Thanks for the 411!
