Forgive me for posting for the first timei and having it be in the classifieds section, but I've got some stuff I'm helping Jim Lindemann sell and so I figured I'd toss in one of my own too.
Please feel free to ask any questions and view info/pics here: http://bayarearidersforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=227266

Ah man...too stiff of springs for me and with that price it'd just be the same cost to buy them for you and have them fixed up for me.

1.0 Kg. Springs are not really that stiff.

They are when I was running .90kg springs in SS form on my SV and I really should have been running .95kb springs.

Eli did 132's at Pacific with 1.0 Kg. on our Superbike SV - I ran 1.0 Kg. on my Supersport SV - only way to keep dunlops from chattering ;)
I have noticed that in the N.W. the trend is towards lighter fork springs - though it has a lot to do with rider style and speed, it is not unusual to see
1.0 + fork springs even with lighter 140 Lbs (Fast) riders.

Yep, it seems to me that speed dictates spring rate at some point as opposed to weight. Some of our AFM midgets are running stiff springs, and when my suspension guy did a set of forks for Attard he used something like 9.5's (that guy weighs like 140lbs!).

I think if I ran on a track that was pretty smooth I'd be more willing to go with a stiffer spring. But since our track is well..you know...a lighter spring allows the tires to work less.

Not always true - the extra free sag with a heavier spring can work to your advantage on a "ahem" less than perfect surface, you also have far better top off feel with the heavier spring, so cresting hills and bumps would upset your bike less.
Though suspension is a lot like tires - there is not always a right or wrong just whatever gets you around the track fastest. Just keep notes and a open mind.
