I have a 1969 kawasaki a7 that I am in the process of putting back together and it is missing a few odds and ends. I am really having a hard time finding steering head bearings. I have tried a few of the All Ball tapered bearings but no luck. HELP!!!!!

All the vintage guys are on dial-up...
Couldn't resist. Try hitting the guys over at the WERA forums, or look for AHRMA guys online.
Good luck.

Really shouldnt be that hard. Measure the inside diameter of the frame(in mm) , outside of the stem where the bearings ride (again in mm) then measure the depth of the race mounts of the frame. Take these dimensions to any bearing house in the SODO district and you should be good.

Applied Industrial (http://applied.findlocation.com/results.aspx). I was just there to get wheel bearings for the Hurricane. They pretty much have everything in stock or three days away.
