The date and location have been confirmed, I was informed this morning by our Corner Captain.

Save the date: November 17
Time: around 630/7pm
Location: Red Lion Bellevue

More details to follow. Those in charge of this event are meeting on Thursday to plan out the details and will fill us all in after that. But for now, save the date, start working on your alcohol tolerance and funny stories. :lmao:

I have gotten as far as getting us a group rate on rooms. Rooms are $99 per night. The rooms sound fabulous with pillow top beds, overstuffed pillows, Nintendo, pay per view movies, Bath & Bodyworks toiletries and the hotel offers car service within a 3 mile radius. For those of you that haven't been to Bellevue for a while it has grown tremendously over the past couple of years. There are various other night life activities if you choose to venture out after the banquet.

A big thank you to everyone for another fabulous year! I'm looking forward to one last hurrah before winter! :beerchug:

I have made arrangements with Amellia's School of Charm and Manners for Luke and several of his closest friends to attend a special class before the banquet. So far I have Luke, Denzler, Lash, Brad G., and the whole HDFFC gang. Please feel free to let me know about anyone else that you feel should attend this special class. :firedevil:

I might have to go but, are you sure you don't want too? Last time we spoke you were tending to the BBQ in Spokane and elaborating about the different uses of . . . "Sausage juice" :rofl:

That's what it takes to make good gravy! You have to have sausage juice before you add the flour and milk! My word man! What are you thinking? In fact, they will probably have biscuits and gravy at The Red Lion Hotel in Bellevue for breakfast for those of you that will be staying after enjoying a knee slappin good time at the WMRRA Awards Banquet.

You forgot Allister, Nico, Joel, Bobby, Jimmy, The Matthews Klan well the whole Pit Racing Crew, Cuthberson, Jeff, Russ....

Most of the above listed are beyond training. It is a nice thought though. Glad I did not make the list. ;)

Don't worry the Pit Racing TV trays will be in affect. I promise we won't almost get the thing shut down like we did 2 years ago - well at least not in the first hour. Eli was also nice enough to remind me during Sundays celebration of my limo antics. :hurl: Cheap tequila is evil.

The irony of this whole thing is that one of the first places that I acutally looked was...

The Woodland Park ZOO!

Sad part is that the ZOO was way to swanky for us! The actually have gorgeous meeting/banquet facilites. (I was also a little worried about the poor animals getting hit on after a few to many cocktails.):lmao:

Just a reminder to get those reservations in to the lovely Ariana!! You may also FAX them to the registration fax number! (Thanks JC, I forgot to put it on the flyer) Please include an email address for confirmations. $30 per person at the Red Lion in Bellevue. Taste of Italy buffet! Menu in previous post. Mmm! There will be 2 no host bars for your convenience.

For those of you that do not want the buffet we will offer coffee, tea and.....water for $10. Basic beverages, I'll check to see if soda is included. Please also RSVP so we can ensure enough seating!

Also, don't forget to reserve your room for only $99. If you plan on alcoholic indulgence or you just want a weekend away from the kids or roommate.

I know that the past couple of years the banquet has been done last minute. I have already spoken with Laura about planning the banquet for next year. I will be soliciting feedback on this venue after the banquet. I would like to have a date and place reserved early in the season. What a concept, eh?

Enjoy a fabulous sunny weekend. Enjoy a nice drive or ride in the mountains to take in the fall colors. The count down is on!! Get those reservations in!!
