EDR Performance welcomes their newest addition, former HRC technician Chris Vandervoort !

For the past 4 years, Chris has worked for American Honda’s road racing team as a technician for Miguel Duhamel. In addition, Chris is a graduate of the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI), has worked as an American Honda field mechanic and has worked at Cycle Tune (LA based sportbike and roadracing shop).

When owner Eric Dorn decided to add another technician he said, “I want someone that is very motivated, customer oriented and hardworking. I want a tech that has a very good level of knowledge and at the same time be a team player, someone that can handle the hard work and stress that comes with this job at times.” He found just that in Chris Vandervoort.
According to Chris, “When I asked around the industry about NW shops, only one name kept coming up and it was always positive, EDR Performance. After I met Eric and the EDR crew I knew this is where I wanted to be. I share their enthusiasm and dedication for the sport, and was impressed by their amazing shop and the results accomplished in almost 10 years. I’m very excited to move to the NW and become a part of EDR Performance”

When EDR Performance Owner Eric Dorn asked around about Chris, he received nothing but positive and complimentary responses. Everyone that has worked with Chris praised his motorcycle knowledge, his work dedication, ability to handle high stress situations, his outstanding attention to detail and his great sense of teamwork. Oh, and apparently he knows how to throw a few jokes out at times. In his spare time Chris enjoys riding motocross, sportbikes and personal watercraft, as well as, spending time with his family.

Following the conclusion of the AMA season in September Chris will relocate and be working full time at EDR Performance. With the addition of Chris’s contributions we will be able to continue to raise our services and racers’ support higher than ever before! Please help us in welcoming Chris and his family to our great community.

Sounds like quite the addition to your crew. Seeing as he has experience dealing with Canucks I just might have to stop by and see him in the near future. Maybe he can do for me what he has done for Miguel:hail:

Eric,

I know you're motivated, customer oriented and hardworking and Chris Vandervoort should be the same........but you guys better brush up on your political skills if you're dealing with HRC (that's code for KISS ASS and still get no parts).
Good luck in your venture.
