Where does it fit within WMRRA rules? Or does it? I am just curious, I don't plan to race one.

I was thinking about this recently as well, I checked over the rules and there's no distinction between fours and triples, it's either singles, twins or 'multis'. It would be cool to race one in 600 supersport 600 fours, 750 twins and 675 triples???
Are they legal anywhere else?

You guys should have checked the minutes from the recent rules committee meting. :p

The 2006 rules will include changes to allow the 675cc triple in 600 Supersport and 600 Superbike. It was already legal for Formula Thunder, as well as 750SS/SB (where of course it wouldn't be competitive with the 750's but half of the entries in those 750 classes are 600's stepping up).

Should be interesting in Formula Thunder if someone gets one.. Should be a good sounding class too.. Ducati, Buell, SV, Triumph.. :)

No kidding! It would be worth watching just to listen.

Let's try to get Pacific Raceways to lift the noise restriction for 30 mins. once a weekend and run open "GP" style exhaust! That would turn heads. I know Brad would appreciate this on the Buell... no more DQ's.

Ya that would be nice. No more DQ's...

Formula Thunder will be the best class to watch next year if we can get all of these manufactures in.

Is it April yet...

WMRC bumped the new Triumph into 600 supersport as well. Any takers yet?

I have one coming, but I won't be racing it. Track days are all I do for now.
