Lash had mentioned that when you buy 5 gallons, theres only really 4.5 gallons or less in the can so he video taped it and proved it so I thought, WTH, I just bought a can of VP so I just taped it and measured the container, sure enough, its got 4.5 gallons in. Do the math, we getting hosed and VP is making a killing. :angry3: :mad2:

Anyone else want to tape it and then we can get ahold of VP and get our money back or something?

You measuring with US or Imperial gallons? Best to check the amount in litres to be sure. 5 US gallons = 18.9 litres = 4.2 Imperial gallons.

If they are ripping us off I will be first in line to raise a stink!:angry3:

The VP can is marked 5 us gallons.
My gas can is marked in both and it was aprox 1 inch below the 5 us gallon mark, :(

are you sure your gas can is completely accurate in its markings? you need to get a calibrated measuring device before flying off the handle.

besides....r-tech is better. :burnout:

is there possibly enough expansion space for a half gallon of fuel to be in vapors?

Nah, no way. A half-gal of fuel at anywhere near atmospheric pressure would take up a ton of space.

Could be but either way, we have paid for 5 gallons of fuel, I want 5 gallons, not 4.5 gallons. Either they know this or its an honest mistake.
