I am selling my SV650 which is a perfect novice track tool, or a cheap, reliable track bike. I just finished up my novice season ( I wish it wasn't over, but I am moving to the east coast, so it is over for me) and I learned a ton on this bike.

Miles? Good questions. It has been a track/race bike since day 1 and the speedo doesn't work.
No issues that I am aware of. If I wasn't moving I would still be racing it.

Yup, sure do. I wadded my 749 in Spokane... I had been thinking about turning it into my race/track bike. Well guess what, the crash sealed the deal!
I think WERA is the main player in the game out there. I am pretty excited to ride out there. I think there are 4 tracks within about 4 hours of me!

CCS is pretty big on the east coast as well - depends on how far north you'll be. What area are you moving to?

I am moving to DC, so I think CCS will be my best bet. I just found out a track is 45 minutes from my house!! I am pretty stoked about that.

Well you have a few pretty close to DC area then. One being VIR if I am not mistaken!!

Yep VIR and Summit Point. I've never been to Summit but some people love it and some hate it - something about the course going through a McDonalds parking lot, at least 'back in the day'. The website has the coolest animated track map I've seen though - giving tips and correct lines, banking info. http://www.summitpoint-raceway.com/

yup, summit is about 45 minutes away and from what I gather VIR is about 4 hours.
From what I have heard, VIR is the cats meow!

VIR is hands down my favorite track on the east coast- and I've been to a few of them. The north course is challenging and technical and in some ways reminds of of PR - but even more pronounced uphill and downhill sections, some fast sweepers in the back section.. just.. great, and with plenty of runoff everywhere. Plus they have these awesome new hotel room things with garages beneath that overlook the track right in the paddock - get up, walk downstairs to your covered garage, suit up, and get on the track!
