I've had some requests already so I thought I'd explain the process for the newbies and a refresher for the old skool folks.
Number assignments are closed for the 2005 season. Requests for 2006 will be accepted December 2nd (first day of the IMS -International Motorcycle Show) Member applications will go out a couple days before that and be available on the web most likely sometime on the 2nd. 2006 numbers will be assigned on a first come first serve basis with 2005 number holders having until Feb. 15th 2006, to hold on to their 2005 number. I must receive your app., NOT postmark, in my hands no later than 11:59pm on 2/15/06 for you to keep your 2005 number. I will be time stamping apps received at the show and ones received by fax to give everyone a fair shot at any new numbers that might become available.
