Just wanted to say thanks to the crash truck workers on Saturday who, with a bit of ingenuity and a whole lot of determination, were able to pull my 04 Gixxer from the opposite side of the T2 tirewall after my wreck in the group 4 practice on Sat. Unfortunately, the damage was such that there was no repairing it by race time Sat or Sun so I hung it up for the season. (I was completely fine btw).
So now I sit at my computer reflecting back at my novice season wondering how I'm gonna be able to make it 6 months before the next race day. Definitely going to be a long winter but at least my finances will have some time to mend. One of the many things I learned this year is that racing is expensive :D . I also met some really cool people and found everyone to be willing to lend a hand if needed. Rick from SB Motorsports was particularly great, Dave from GP Suspension helped a bunch and of course my pit mates Mike and Damon were always there to lend a hand.
Finally I wanted to say thanks the the WMRRA staff for all the time and effort they put forth to make these great weekends happen. These folks are definitely the "doer's" and I am grateful for the sacrafices they make so we can all have safe and organized events.
