anyone know what the track conditions were like for the 650 supersport race?

i've got a 6 hour drive home so i decided to bail out when the hail started...

hope you guys got enough bikes on the grid without me to make your contingency numbers!

It wasn't that bad except for the black ice in turn 5 that caused me to low side on the white flag lap. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Actually, by the time the light went out to start the race, there wasn't anything falling out of the sky but the track was definitely wet. Still good times though!

It started to hail right before the race. The front straight started to dry up towards the end of the race. I couldn't get cozy on the bike so I finished last but stayed up unlike two unfortunate people.

We got 8...so Michelin money was available.

Good seeing you out there.

The black ice you speak of was the minature river that was funnelling and flowing right into the race line in the apex of turn 5 from any and all the water on turns 5 and 6A.

I think it was 6 bikes in total we saw have an incident of some sort from that spot.

I didn't have any issues there but the straight was terrible. In the 600ss race, it poored down and by the 5th lap, the staight was a a pond. It was very slick.
