gsxr gearing

I am entering a novice season and have recently picked up a 2005 gsxr 750. What is the best gearing for pacific if it has a stock motor and power comander? Does it even matter for a novice approach?

i think most people are using -1 on the front and + 3/4 on the rear for that bike.

Try the stock and see how you fair with that at first. Then maybe you want to go -1 front and +1 rear...Depends on how you ride....Good luck and welcome to the club..

a pretty good way to find out gearing is to find someone who is a couple/few seconds faster than you and go one tooth shorter than them...that should put you right where you need to be.
