Hello all,

I am from Calgary and was wanting to race in spokane on September 3rd/4th. In Calgary we run a DB com transponder system for timing, is this similar to your system or am I looking at renting/buying a new transponder? Are you aloud to camp at the track? I am running a 1994 Rs250R and was wondering what classes I could enter in? Besides my current CMA, CMRA, EMRA liscenses, is there anything else I will need to race in your association? Also I am interested in running the endurance race however I don't have a usable bike, so if anyone needs to fill an empty spot I would be glad to fill in. Thank you for all your help.

Matthew.

We use the dbCom Racetime 2 system. We have some transponders available for rent.

Check the rulebook (online) for details on classes. 250GP and TFS are your main classes with that bike. Your bike may be legal for others as well but might not be a good match (600 SBK). One thing of note about classes and your bike... Open GP Twins runs as a wave in the same race as 250GP so you can't race in Open GP Twins and 250GP.

Can't help you with endurance racing.

You can camp at the track in Spokane. Facilities are primitive. Also, the track hosts drag racing in the evenings that goes quite late and loud into the night.

Check our rulebook for all the details for racing with WMRRA. I think you'll have to buy a single-event WMRRA license for $20 (+ $5 processing fee?) in addition to race registration fees since you are not a WMRRA member. I might not be right about the fees though.

Thanks,
Jeff

The $20 Weekend fee only applies to WA state residents that do not have a WMRRA license but do hold some other accepted current license (OMRRA, WERA, CCS, USGPRU, etc) WMRRA has a very generous resciprocity policy and your CMRA license should be all you need.
