Oops, bikes can fly?

This was from the 08/12 event. I avoided a downed rider in the busstop and now being clear tossed the throttle wide open. This induced a tankslapper that eventually tossed me. A quick shuttered fan captured five consecutive shots of the incident. Interesting to note was that right side of the bike (side facing down during flight) never touched the ground.

Ouch but it looks like you landed on the right part of your body to help avoid major injury. How were you feeling afterwards?

Walked away with only a bruse on my inner knee. Presumably from the tank while i was still riding out the tank slapper.

How hi-res are those shots? Not to belittle your crash, but if you can zoom in on just you and the "floating" bike in the main picture, that would be an AWESOME shot!
