1995 Ducati 916 Track "project" Bike
asking $ 8750
- Salvage Title (paper title is available, with release from previous owner)
- Termignoni Ti Slip-ons
- Marchesini Magnesium Wheels
- Rearsets
- Race instrument mount/fairing stay
- Ohlins steering damper
- Ohlins rear shock
- Brembo GP front calipers
- Brembo GP front brake master cylinder
- Brembo GP clutch master cylinder
- Braided SS lines
- Vented clutch cover (custom)
- Full floating cast iron brake rotors
- Rearstand
- Front stand
- Rear wheel nut socket wrench
- Unpainted, undrilled Sharkskins Competition bodywork (new, in-box)
- Slipper Clutch (not installed)
- Missing fuel pump
- DID 520 chain
- Ti Rods ( maybe )
- Spare handlebars
- Extra set of tires
- Original instrument cluster carrier and speedo
The crash was (from what I was told) a low side that ended abruptly at a tree. The bike rotated around during the slide, so the impact was directly on the top of the fuel tank. The bike had about 6000 miles on it at the time.
The bike has been through a track-prep rework after I bought it in crashed condition from the previous owner, but I never finished the project. The work was done by Mark Sutton (www.ducshop.com) in 2000. The engine needs some final external parts, and there is minor finishing work needed all over the bike. The new fuel tank and bodywork need paint and fitting.
