Any beats on how long it'll take to have this available as an OEM add-on? If it happens I wonder how WMRRA rules are going to handle it.

I would assume they will follow behind AMA when the time comes. It only makes sense they follow the largest club in america road racing I would think.

I'm dissapointed to hear the AMA is going that route. I personnally think it should be banned from all racing. Computer traction control, then computer throttle control, then computer steering, then computer breaking control, then what?

hee hee . No vintage here (i run an 06 model) I guess I'm just old fashioned I think it should come down to whom is the most skilled and brave with the throttle rather than having a computer sort it out for the rider.

Here here, why dont we just make the bike remote control and ride them from the grandstands. It's only one more computer control on the bike and the rider weight would be gone helping to add the extra weight for all the computer crap???

there was a guy in Spokane running his RC motorcycle....he's already got a leg up on us all!!!

So should we get rid of FI? What is just the right amount for you?

No matter what technology you put in the riders hand, they still have to have the talent to pull it off.

The cars can use it. Thats fine with me, but how long are they on 3/4 of an inch of tire or less? and does body position help them at all? I'd say no to both. Motorcycle racing is a hole nother ball game and talent is the big factor here. Remember the ratio for bikes; 20% bike to 80% rider...Cars are just the opposite so they can cheat all they want, it fits right into their ratio...
